Hi!  I made this cute garland for a customer’s birthday party.  I am umming and ahhing as to whether it be a regular garland.  What do you think?  Tomorrow I will tell you about something else I made somewhere else.  I am also planning an event for our school, and I may need YOU!  I will let you know all about that in a day or so.  Have you been making?  Doing?  Planning?  I would love to hear all about it!

A new Happy Birthday garland in pretty rainbow colours is now available in the shop.  I am really proud of this one; it took 5 rummages through my paper pile, two trips to the paper shop, a lot of switching and swapping of colours and an afternoon of photographing.  I am pretty sure that I have it right now.

Not the name of the latest children’s brand (though it would be a cutie and could possibly already exist) – it is a custom wedding banner that is heading to NY (that would be New York).  I love what I do.

I have been thinking about this idea for a while now, and I spent all morning working on square sizes, length vs. weight issues, working with punches.  The colours and patterns all seem to come easily to me, it’s the maths that sometimes messes me up.  I am really happy with the result though.  I have based the shape on the humble cafe curtain, present through out the 1970s and 1980s in many Australian (and international) kitchens.  My Mum loved them.  We had some amazing patterns going on.  She was always so happy to hang up a new set.  So, these I dedicate to my Mum!  You can get a garland here if you like.

I have been meaning to introduce these for a while.  Along with Fiona from Fiona Kate (and a little help from this gal) I have produced a set of fun, crafty Advent Cards, perfect for counting down to Christmas in your own creative way.  The cards are lovely and smooth, so they are perfect for sticking with washi tape.  They could be coloured in with markers, doodled upon, collaged or stamped.  They are entirely in your hands.  They are also printed as a postcard on the back, perfect for sending.  You can even use them as birthday cards!
