The Paper Projects – One.

Hello.  I am going to turn it up a little.  I have decided to do a monthly paper project.  Mostly from things around the house.  Not too complicated.  So we can all have a bit of paper loving fun together.  I am starting in February, so a pretty heart is in order.

Materials

Materials

Step 1.

You will need:  a paper doily (could be heart, square, round), a contrasting sheet of patterned paper, double-sided tape or spray glue, scissors.

Double-sided tape

Step 2.

Cut some small pieces of double-sided tape and place them evenly around on the back of your doily.  Peel off the backing tape and stick securely to your contrasting paper.  You could also use spray glue here.

Step 3.

Cut neatly around your doily following the shape of the outside edge and leaving a contrasting border of approximately 0.5cm.

Step 4.

Centre your cut-out on a backing paper ready for framing.

Now we can have a cup of tea.
