I heart Yulia.

My friend Prue wears many hats.  She is a busy Mum and wife, runs her own special business – Gigi and Lulu - a boutique marketing and design company that loves to help small businesses (like Paperklip), and part-time stylist.  We met at Magnolia Square in Melbourne last year as we were stallholder neighbours when Prue was helping Pru from Little Bird.  We are often trying to find special things to send each others way – and today she has come up trumps.  This is the work of Russian Graphic Designer and Illustrator called Yulia Brodskaya.  So inspiring.  Do you love it?  Thanks Prue.

Slowly catching up around here.  Name garlands are my bread and butter – I love making them because they are so individual.  This is one of a pair going to a customer of Nicole’s at Rosiepose.  Nicole has a lovely hand selected range of things for kids, baby and Mum over at her site.  Definitely worth a look.

And the title is a reference to Alice in Wonderland – probably my favourite Disney film ever.  Miss H (my littlest) loves it too.  Which one is your favourite?

Where are they all driving to?  A sweet row of cars headed to the product page and Etsy shop.

I got a little carried away and put 10 on this one.

An old love………

Cross stitch project 1

Cross stitch project 1

I am reviving an old love today – cross stitch.  I cross-stitched for lots of years, way back when it was very un-cool.  It kept me company on cold nights in our apartment in Denmark.  It travelled across Australia to Perth in the Kombi much to the dislike of The Viking.  Then paper came into my life.  I really think it is time for a revival.  This is a simply project I am doing up for the Paperklip stall at Magnolia Square when it comes to Sydney in July – yeah.  I will keep you posted.

Congratulations goes to…..
